What happens if I cancel? Are there any other charges?

Billing is strictly month-to-month, there is no long-term contract. The first 30 days are free. If you cancel in the first 30 days, there is no charge. You can cancel at any time, but there is no refund after signup, and we do not prorate for partial months. No exceptions, it’s as simple as that.

Where do I sign up?

Who should sign up?

The workgroup manager should sign up. After signup, the workgroup manager adds the users, and you are ready to use the application. When the workgroup manager signs up, they will receive an e-mail confirming the enrollment.

What if I have more than 10 users?

The system is designed for a maximum of 10 users per workgroup. This is a design decision based upon our experience with issue tracking and project management. If you need more users, enroll another workgroup. That workgroup, however, will be independent and not have acceess to any other workgroup’s data.

Is the cost a flat monthly fee, or per-user?

The only fee you pay is $25/month for your workgroup. It does not matter if there are two, three, or 10 people in your workgroup, or if there are a few or lots of issues. Everybody in your workgroup is covered by the monthly fee.

What types of payment are accepted?

We accept VISA and Mastercard or payments through your Paypal account. At this time we only accept payments online so we are not be able to accept a P.O., invoice you, or take an order over the phone.

Why do you use Paypal?

For our initial launch, we are using Paypal to keep costs low.

Is there a discount if we pay in advance?

No. Billling is a flat fee, strictly month-to-month. This arrangement keeps it simple and reduces our administrative cost, and keeps it simple for the user.

Can you invoice us? Will you accept a P.O.?

No. Billing is strictly month-to-month, on a pay-as-you-go basis. Our only payment option is online via credit cards or Paypal.

What are the system requirements?

TrackMyBugs is an online service, so there is nothing to do on your end. All you need is a recent web browser with Javascript enabled, and an Internet connection. TrackMyBugs officially supports Internet Explorer 6 or later on the PC, Firefox on Mac, PC, and Linux, and Safari on Mac). We do not recommend using Internet Explorer 5.x on the Mac or PC. If you have Internet Explorer 5, we recommend switching to Firefox — it’s free, standards-based, and works great.

What are the limitations?

Unlike nearly every other issue-tracking service, there is no limitation on either the number issues, the number of projects, or the amount of attachments stored. The only limitation is 10 users per workgroup.

How do I cancel?

Cancel your subscription through Paypal and we will be notified automatically.

To cancel your subscription to TrackMyBugs, you need to log into Paypal and cancel the subscription there, as the recurring payment originates from Paypal. Here is how to do that:

1. Log into your Paypal account.
2. Go to My Account->History.
3. Select "Subscriptions" from the "Show" dropdown. Change the date range if appropriate.
4. Click Search.
5. On the search results page, find the transaction with the type of "Subscription Create" and a Status of "Active".
6. Click "Details".
7. To cancel the subscription, click "Cancel Subscription".

Remember our policy is no proration for partial months, so make sure to cancel before your billing date.
