This is the Privacy Policy for TrackMyBugs, a subscription-based service provided by Iterate LLC.
Iterate collects your name, login ID, password, security question and answer, and e-mail address as necessary requirements of providing the service. We also collect monthly transactional information through financial gateways. We do NOT collect any credit card information on our servers, only transactional information consisting of an anonymous transaction ID and the results of the transaction. Credit card information during the signup process is collected by the particular gateway employed at the time of signup.
Additionally, we collect application access information in access logs available only to Iterate system administrators.
Excepting financial information transmit during the signup process to gateways for signup approval, no information of any kind is ever shared with any third parties. From time to time we may e-mail current or past users about features, application enhancements, or changes made to the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy. Application access information is used for traffic analysis and intrusion detection purposes.
Security of our applications, and our client's data, is vital and of primary importance. The signup process is protected by secure socket layer (SSL) technology, indicated by the padlock icon on the browser. We never store credit card information on our servers (see "What Information is Collected" above). We use industry best practices for web application security throughout the development, testing, and implementation of all web applications to protect applications and data.
Even though this is the case, electronic storage of data, and data transmission over the Internet is never totally secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please feel free to e-mail us if you have questions about our security practices at
Iterate applications use cookies to store a small amount of data which may include an anonymous identifier. Cookes are sent to your browser by the Iterate application webserver to give the user the ability to interact with Iterate's web services. TrackMyBugs' cookies can be identified by the domain name "trackmybugs.com" and the cookie names "_SessionTracker_TMB_Signup" and "_SessionTracker_TMB_Admin". Cookies must be enabled for TrackMyBugs to function. The session timeout is set to 30 minutes. If there is no activity within 30 minutes, the user will be logged-out and the cookie deleted.
Iterate will disclose personal information only under very special circumstances, such as to comply with legal demands, investigate suspected fraud, violations of the Terms of Use, or otherwise required by law.
Iterate reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Should this happen, we will e-mail the subscriber at the current e-mail address of their subscription.
